About The Project

The world is witnessing a growing trend of missile proliferation. Over 30 countries are thought to either already possess or to be developing missile technology. The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS) feels that this issue has so far not received the public attention in The Netherlands that it deserves.

We therefore decided to set up an online policy analysis exercise to which we have invited stakeholders from different backgrounds and disciplines to solicit their input on possible missile threat scenarios, their probability and impact specifically for the Netherlands, and on possible policy options with their respective pros and cons.

This is a blog dedicated to informing you about progress in this online forum.
